Site History and Remarks

Station previously operated 1969-71. Present gage installed June 4, 1980. Data collected at this station indicate that the suspended-sediment concentrations did not remain high after the May 18, 1980 eruption. USGS personnel observed ash on streambed there following the June 12, 1980 eruption. (Dinehart, 1981)
